Bruker TRACER 5i XRF Spectrometer

The Bruker TRACER 5i is a high-performance handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometer designed for advanced elemental analysis in research, art conservation, and complex material studies. Unlike standard "point-and-shoot" devices, it offers extensive manual control over excitation parameters, making it a portable version of a laboratory EDXRF system.

• Advanced Detector: Features a 20 \(mm^{2}\) Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) with an \(8\,\mu m\) beryllium window for high-speed data acquisition and excellent resolution (\(<140\,eV\)).
• SharpBeam™ Geometry: Uses a patented optimized beam path that minimizes the distance between the sample and detector, increasing sensitivity and precision while reducing power requirements.
• Customizable Excitation: Operators can manually adjust current and voltage (\(6\text{--}50\,kV\)) and select from an automated 5-position filter wheel or use custom manual filters.
• Atmospheric Control: Supports analysis in air, vacuum, or helium purge. The helium purge enables the detection of light elements down to Fluorine (F), while standard air mode covers Sodium (Na) to Uranium (U).
• Internal Camera: Includes an internal VGA CMOS camera for precise alignment and the ability to save up to five photos per assay for documentation.
